South-West: Double success for the Open and Participatory Budget in Limbe

At the helm is the Cameroon Community Media Network (CCMN). Created in the North-West and South-West regions, this network of more than 200 journalists specialized in peace journalism and non-violent communication, and a partner of the Afroleadership association, served as the focal point for the facilitation of the Cameroon Open Participatory Budget (COPB) in Limbe. In total, 110 people were reached, including 101 participants and 9 elected youth delegates.

The first workshop took place on April 19, 2021. In one day, 56 youth, women, and persons living with disabilities from the municipalities of Limbe 1 and Limbe 2 gathered at the Victoria Guest House Hall. On April 20, 2021, it was the turn of 54 youth, women, and persons living with disabilities from Limbe 3, Limbe 2, and Limbe 1.
