Ridwan is a co-founder of Tech Hive Advisory, where he currently leads the technology policy team. He brings expertise in the international aspects of information technology policy, data protection and privacy laws, as well as digital health and ethics. He also advises on the deployment of new and disruptive technologies, data governance, and laws related to surveillance and cybersecurity. Ridwan is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in the field of information privacy and an associate researcher with the African Academic Network on Internet Policy. Additionally, he was recently appointed as an expert to the Council of Europe’s Data Protection Unit.
